Devotional series on Chairmanship of Jesus

This devotional series is for disciples who are starting organisations or are given organisations to steward. Our heart is for more businesses and organisations to be consecrated unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Imagine a world where (at an extreme) all businesses are built upon the Word of God and empowered by the leading of the Holy Spirit. The world would likely look very different.

Devotion:

Businesses maximise profits and stakeholders values. Social enterprises and impact businesses try to balance profits and impact. How about a business owned by Chairman Abba Father, left in our hands to steward.

What do we think are the strategic goals for a business owned and headed by Jesus Christ?

Scripture:

Love

Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34)

Good news; salvation of souls

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. (John 3:16–18)

Making disciples

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:19)
