06 Jun Don’t Let Systems And Money Choke Ministry

God reminded me that as we start new ministry, don’t let worldly systems (Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. – Romans 12:2) and money (The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. – Matthew 13:22) choke the ministry.

So what do we need to note? I’m not sure but I list some practices that come to mind for sharing and future reference.

• Finances (by faith) can be cleared by year end, perhaps Christmas annually.
• As stewards, we use money to invest in lives.
• Hold money loosely, God gives abundantly.
