Was thinking and trying to confirm with the Lord whether He meant for us to hire someone. Recently we hired some people that is in some sense not logical from a usual business point of view. I felt literally like the business is a refuge house. Through ministry God has told me many times that we will have refuge house for the last, least and lost. I didn’t imagine that the internal team of business also feels much like a refuge house.

As I was confirming with the Lord, He reminded me of us (our family, business, non-profit, ministry) being the mustard tree that bird come to perch in its branches, taking refuge in the tree.

Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? 19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.” (Luke 13:18-19)
