04 Jun Exceedingly Abundantly
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, – Ephesians 3:20
Wife told me that she had a “panic attack” after seeing that we are down to our last dollars again and as she prayed God gave her a vision of the last dollars rolling, a tiger popping out (distractions maybe) and ending with Abundance. In seeking prayer support from a mentor, we were given Ephesians 3, especially verse 20. Speaks to wife as the verse from NKJV has the word abundantly in it.
On Sunday which happens to be pentecost, I was reflecting on Ephesians 3. God does exceedingly abundantly. “Double portion” of “more than we need”. above what we can imagine and ask for (similar to God saying to me to not place limits on what God does). according to the “power at work within us”. Power is from the Holy Spirit within us. Especially timely during pentecost to reflect on the power of the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
On Monday during corporate prayers, I shared about my reflections and he mentioned God speaking to him about “to Him be Glory in the church” and our venture and organisation is the church (new way of churching).
Mentor reached to again to wife to say she was listening to Cairnhill Methodist sermon which spoke about Ephesians 3:20 and was reminded of us.
